Greetings all,

Im considering upgrading to ADSL very soon and wondering if anyone is using / Has used Netspace ADSL. and if anyone could provide any positive or negative feedback.

Secondly.. Im looking at using a IPcop box to connect to ADSL., and Netspace recommends Alcatel Speedtouch or D-Link DSL 200, DSL 300 or the DSL 300+.. can anyone advised which would be best for an IPcop box using Ethernet connection as the box is pre USB

Have a look at iGreen's new plans. After they were bought by Flow, the
speeds are very good.

ADSL USB modems are a bit of a pain with Linux. Get an ethernet modem,
setting it up and connecting are relatively easy.

If you buy from any provider, you will pay extra for your modem. My
recommendation would be to get your own modem and only pay the provider
the set-up charges.

Have a look at http://www.pcrange.biz for modems.

I have done the installation for a couple of Netspace customers. Their
helpdesk is not too slow and can give you reasonable quality
information.

Definitely get a modem with ethernet, then. The DLink DSL-302G (fairly
new) does the job at the right price, whether you are talking business
or home. I have now set it up on both types of Netspace accounts.

One benefit of Netspace is their extensive free downloads within their
network, including a TUCOWS mirror, ftp server, and game servers.
Unfortunately they don't have Linux ISO's available for download.
